Online Player Wins Dream Vacation of Poker!
Five weeks before the kick off of the New Zealand Poker Champs in April, an
internet subsidiary of the Christchurch Casino, the land-based host of the
Champs, gave away won of the best prizes in online poker.
Kiwi Casino Poker handed out a ten day trip to New Zealand to enjoy the New
Zealand Poker Champs and enjoy the country’s beautiful scenery to player
Jovan and his wife on February 24. Jovan also gets the opportunity to play
in the New Zealand Poker Champs, where a win also grants the victor a seat
at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jovan will be joined by
the winners of Kiwi Casino Poker’s final New Zealand Poker Champs super
satellite, which is scheduled for March 5. Kiwi Casino Poker will be giving
away four more poker vacations at the event.
Management of Kiwi Casino Poker stated that this was one of the best prizes
in online poker. “Five luxury vacations for two to New Zealand and the
chance to win a seat at the World Series of Poker Main Event- it just
doesn’t get any better than that!”
The online casino is the only place on the net where online players can
qualify for the New Zealand Poker Champs. Seats at the final super satellite
can be bought directly, or won through ongoing Sit ’n’ Go and daily Multi
Table Qualifiers.
Christchurch Casino group is part of New Zealand’s most prestigious casino
organization, and the land based gaming and hospitality interests attract
visitors from around the world. This year’s New Zealand Poker Champs begin
with a filmed celebrity charity event on April 1 and wraps up with the No
Limit Hold ‘Em Main Event on the 7th and 8th. There is $60,000 (NZD), the
New Zealand title and a seat at the World Series of Poker up for grabs in
the event. Players and fans will be able to enjoy the casino’s bar and
restaurant, live bands, stand up comedians, or try their luck at one of the
casino’s other numerous table, slot and card games.
The Christchurch Casino was the first casino in New Zealand to offer poker
on its gaming floor, and was the host of the first New Zealand Poker Champs
the same year. The tournament has grown every year since then, developing
into a festival of poker where the whole casino is given over to the
tournament. This year the tournament will feature an appearance by
Australian resident and current WSOP champion Joe Hachem.
